Job Overview
Moody’s is hiring an Associate Software Engineer to join the CRE-Keystone team, a core development group within the Fixed Income division. This team operates like a startup within the company, focusing on building and maintaining advanced financial data management and risk analytics platforms used by global clients.
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will contribute to developing scalable data and analytics solutions that support financial markets, particularly in Fixed Income and Commercial Real Estate analytics.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the engineering team, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for financial data management and risk analytics platforms
- Contribute to building data-driven and analytical software products
- Implement Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to create scalable systems
- Work with relational databases to manage and process financial datasets
- Collaborate with team members to improve existing platforms and introduce new features
- Troubleshoot technical issues and debug applications across systems and workflows
- Participate in code reviews and Agile development processes
- Continuously learn and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies
